California & other states warned them. Trump ignored it.
And when he failed, California stepped up — blocking $125 BILLION in attempted fraud, deploying ID verification, halting backdating scams, and arresting ~1,000 people.
Even Trump’s own Labor Department admitted their guidance was inadequate. This wasn’t “Democratic leadership failure.”
It was federal negligence — cleaned up, per usual, by the states.
